Spring Bike Tour - Smashing Success
Every year, the City of Minneapolis encourages its neighborhood organizations to participate in Neighborhood Day. From duck races to garden tool swaps, people all over the city are celebrating their community and meeting the organizations that represent them at the city level. We wanted to make our first Neighborhood Day as an organization memorable and befitting of an organization that covers such vastly different spaces. How did we do it? A bike tour, of course!
Tour guides brought 75 riders around the neighborhoods, showing off new bike infrastructure, current EBNP projects, future infrastructure we are advocating for at the city level, and more. Afterwards, they met back at Freewheel Bike’s newest location on SE 9th St in Marcy-Holmes for giveaways, a cookout, and free bike checks.
Fall Bike Tour - Coming Soon
If you missed this spring’s bike tour, don’t worry. Another bike tour will be coming this fall. Hopefully we will see some of the new infrastructure going in over the summer finalized before the Fall 2025 Semester begins.
