The City of Minneapolis is divided into 13 wards, each represented by a City Council member. Below is an overview of the geographic boundaries for Wards 1, 2, and 3:
Ward 1: Council Member Elliott Payne
Located in Northeast and Southeast Minneapolis, Ward 1 encompasses 11 neighborhoods, including Como and Mid-City Industrial
Ward 2: Council Member Robin Wonsley
Situated in the southeastern part of the city, Ward 2 includes the neighborhoods of Marcy-Holmes, Como, and the University neighborhoods.
Ward 3: Council Member Michael Rainville
Encompassing parts of central Minneapolis, Ward 3 contains the neighborhoods of Marcy-Holmes and the Nicollet Island-East Bank neighborhood

Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board Commissioners
District 1: Commissioner Billy Menz
District 1 of the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board encompasses the northeastern and southeastern areas of Minneapolis, and it currently includes all of the East Bank neighborhoods.

District 4 is primarily Minneapolis as its border lines extend south from Downtown to the Minneapolis St. Paul International airport, west to Highway 35 and east to the Mississippi River. It also includes The Unorganized Territory of Fort Snelling.
