Mississippi Park Connection is proud to bring the 22nd annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival, one of the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film festivals, to the heart of the Twin Cities. The event will feature films from all over the world that inspire and connect us to the life-giving waters of the river. From the 12:30 pm family-friendly matinee, to the 2 pm curated showing highlighting connections to water bodies around the world, to the 4:45 pm pulse-quickening screening of locally produced pieces, the Wild and Scenic Film Festival has something for everyone who is excited about connecting with the Mississippi River – and wants to support their national park. Proceeds from the event support equitable access to the Mississippi River and the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, the national park unit in the Twin Cities. As the philanthropic partner to the National Park Service, Mississippi Park Connection helps connect people to the river and the national park through events like this.
